The Safety Zone Brewing Co. creates cannabis-infused beer using exotic strains of mairjuanna and combining them with the best quality hops sourced from around the world. They needed branding and initial can designs that would allow their emerging operation to grow and flourish without financial strain.
I created a visual system that showcased their innovative approach to brewing and differentiated their product from the rapidly expanding market of cannabis-infused products. For the packaging, we avoided any obvious symbols associated with marijuana and focused on strong typographic executions paired with brightly colored patterns to grab the customer’s attention. The logotype is rooted in the Safety Zone’s philosophy of providing a level of expertise and reliability that is only achieved after many years of mastering their craft. Additional brand artifacts were developed for consumer touchpoints to organically deliver brand voice and messaging.
