Branding, art direction, and website for Wellfed – a lifestyle brand and podcast focused on creativity, culture, and sometimes food.

What started as a passion for home cooking and wellness evolved into experimenting with recipes, creating short films, and art directing photoshoots.

As my own client I wanted to craft a unique brand story across all touchpoints. The result is a fresh, humble, and wholesome voice that isn’t afraid to step out its comfort zone.

Inspired by vintage cookbooks and early coupons, Cooper Black was chosen to bridge the gap between old and new. The logo is tightly kerned to represent the feeling of being welcomed into a friend or family’s home.

I designed and built the website to allow listeners to find episodes and all of the listening platforms the podcast is distributed to. Article pages include a full transcription of each episode along with imagery a branded ‘To-Go Notes’ section for each episode.

Meals and ingredients were shot on brand colors with contrasting shadows to accentuate and lure hungry eyes.

A series of short cooking films were produced to share on social media. The films were condensed and weaved together using motion cuts to keep viewers engaged and build a rythmic narrative.
