Viceland is an international television channel owned and operated by VICE Media launched on February 29, 2016. The lifestyle-orienteded network launched with programs and news covering music, food, sex, fashion, tech hosted by the likes of Gloria Steinem, Action Bronson, Michael K. Williams and Ellen Page. The channel is made by people for people.
As a part of the marketing team, I was tasked with creating and producing campaigns that raised awareness, called for social action, and asked for self-reflection. For upcoming and new shows I worked with a team of directors to develop the look and feel of each show's branding. I was creating and managing content on various digital vendors such as Amazon, Xbox, Sony, and Google as well social media networks like Facebook and Instagram on a show-to-show basis.

‘Right Now on TV’ was one of Viceland’s first out of home marketing campaigns after launching to promote the channel. The campaign was centered around photography that highlighted Viceland’s diverse lineup of shows. Bold headlines such as ‘8 Year Olds are Getting Stoned’ were chosen to demand viewers attention.

After the campaign had launch, residents of the Mission District in San Fransisco thought that the ads could use some updating. They took initiative to suggest revisions and can be read more about here and here.
We acted quickly to create new ads with their feedback. The result was infinitely better.

Viceland was never shy to share it's position on topics such as politics, sex, and drugs. The channel organized and supported events such as the Women’s March and also created a campaign to normalize marijuana usage in our society today.
